This is a free, for-entertainment tool that randomly assigns teams to names for an office or home sweepstake. We never collect, hold, or handle money, stakes, entry fees, or prizes — any pot is organised, collected, and paid out between participants offline. You are responsible for complying with the gambling, lottery, and tax laws where you live.
UK (Great Britain): to stay within the Gambling Act 2005 work/residents' lottery exemption, run your draw in person among colleagues or residents at a single premises, take no private-gain cut (proceeds may go to prizes or to a good cause), and keep ticketing within that same group. Northern Ireland has separate rules.
US: office pools are regulated state by state — keep it social, take no cut of the pot, and check your state's rules.
